Klutz sets the methodology used to assess gas wells in Virginia
In May of 2012, Judge Charles Smith, Jr. ruled in EQT Corporations lawsuit against Wise County, Virgina that the two parties in the dispute should
use Warren Klutz’s methodology for valuing the gas wells to assess them for ad valorem taxes purposes. This case involved the appraisal of 629
million dollars in gas wells and other gas gathering assets. The ruling has set Klutz’s methodology as the standard for valuing gas gathering assets.

The National Association of Realtors bestows Realtor Emeritus status on December 16, 2016 to Warren Klutz for leadership and contributions to
the organization over more than 40 continuous years.
